Stegra, formerly known as H2 Green Steel, was founded in 2020 with a mission to slash the carbon footprint of steelmaking by up to 95%. The new brand identity was designed to convey trust and expertise, while embracing an optimistic outlook on the future. In close collaboration with Victor Nilsson of Bold I developed 3D visuals and animations that break down the complex process of steelmaking in an aesthetic way. Rather than simply depict the various stages, we focused on a polished look & feel that also incorporated the "shifting edge" of the new logo design. The final images and animations were used in various ways all over the new website and promotion material.

Design & Development
The project included an extensive phase of RND and tests until we found the final images. Here are a few insights in form of visuals and animation tests that didn´t make it till the finish line. Most of the work was done in the 3D Software Houdini.
